Promote the Biosphere and win a Class Excursion!
Calling all primary school students in the Noosa Biosphere region! Promote the Noosa Biosphere in your school community and win a class excursion on the Noosa River and learn even more about unique area in which we live.

Schools have submitted their entries with many excellent promotions to choose from.
Winner’s details will be announced shortly!
However don’t despair, this competition will be conducted again next year – so get your thinking caps on and start planning!
Competition Details
The best promotion will win. How you promote the biosphere in your school community is up to you. Class entries will be judged on:
- How they contribute to the conservation and sustainability aims of the Noosa Biosphere Reserve
- The impact your promotion has within the local school community
- The creativity in delivery (print based, multimedia, website)
- How it links with other school based and local initiatives i.e. the recent “What Native Plant is that?”
Prize
The winning class will receive an excursion for students in that class, their teacher and up to two other adult supervisors.
Their school will also receive signage to display to the local community. e.g. “Sunshine Coast Regional Council 2009 Winner for promoting the aims of the Noosa Biosphere Reserve.”For more information
