This has always been my personal motto to life. I am a proud Wakka Kabi / Bidjer Carra women. Events in my life and family’s life have created strong spiritual connection to my ancestral county, on both my mothers’ country and my fathers’ country.

One of the most significant events in all of our lives (that is all of us human’s living here in Australia) is the arrival of the many diverse cultural visitors to this beautiful country of ours. It has now how ever come to the time of walking beside my people and allowing us to share with you how to connect to country. Firstly, though you must be able to identify where your mob comes from. Once you know that then we can truly walk this path of unity. The actions I have taken in life are to ensure that I hold the utmost respect for not only myself but also for each and every one of us. I would like to encourage us all to create a new way of sharing our cultural identity and seek a positive way for us all to engage in a natural humanitarian way. So my challenge is that events and actions will have a profound effect on all of our destinies. I now challenge you all to tell your ancestral stories.
