The recent distribution of the DRAFT Sunshine Coast Community Plan is welcomed by Noosa Biosphere. A number of our sector board members were invited to join over 100 other community representatives in late 2010 to assist develop the plan. Noosa Biosphere regards this sort of collaboration as part of its position as a ‘learning laboratory and thought-leadership hub’. Our ability to engage with the wider regional community is very relevant as a biosphere reserve, while geographically defined, should not limit it's intellectual capacity to reach out and be inclusive to and from other parts of the coast.
