As springtime approaches and homegrown produce is at its peak, Noosa Biosphere’s Social Sector Board, Sunshine Coast Creative Alliance and the Sunshine Coast Council’s Smart Arts + program will explore all things ‘green arts’ at the ‘J’ at Noosa Junction from 6pm on the 2nd of August in the 7th Pecha Kucha event called ‘Green Love’. We have just discovered green.tv and are most impressed! green.tv is the broadband TV channel for environmental films and is the first website to bring together films from a whole range of environmental organisations and independent filmmakers and make them available to anyone - anywhere. More >>

John Alwyn-Jones was the MC for our Noosa
Biosphere Day. He sent me a note with a refreshing angle on the daylight saving debate. John suggests we should embrace all benefits of daylight saving and change to 'Noosa Time' in Summer. Don’t jump to conclusions about the idea until you read the background to it. Some lateral thinking. We need to
