I read in the Weekend Australian magazine recently that BP are giving away free fuel for volunteers. You could be eligible!
The website states: "If you're a not-for-profit volunteer and you use a vehicle to undertake your volunteering activities, we want to hear from you. You could be awarded with free BP fuel to help you in your volunteering work."
Applications close 2nd May... so best to get onto this quickly IF you are eligible. (And I'm thinking quite a few Noosa Biosphere residents could be eligible given our high volunteer rates!)
I found the eligibility criteria summarised here:
To be eligible to apply for the Vouchers for Volunteers programme, applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria. A) Applicant must volunteer for a not-for-profit organisation B) Applicant must supply a current not-for-profit organisation registration number. C) Applicant must use a vehicle in the process of volunteering. D) Applicant must perform an educational, social or environmental function. E) Applicant must not meet any of the ineligibility criteria.
Applications must be made via the following website: www.talkstoppedlongago.com.au
