The Noosa Biosphere is all around you, it is the land, the water, the people and most importantly it is how we as a society interact with our environment.
Taking that a further step, I think the Noosa Biosphere also includes our climate and our sky.
I subscribe to CSIRO helix science email series (for both my daughter and myself) and they recently had an edition on cloud spotting.
This looks like fun and is an activity for all ages. This recent helix edition describes the different types of clouds, how they are formed and even has links to other informative and educational websites on clouds.
Therefore, if you are looking for something to do this summer and are interested in the weather, I am suggesting you grab a pillow and gaze up - and start a cloud diary.
Why not submit your cloud diaries in photo format, as I am sure other Noosa Biosphere readers would be interested in your efforts?
