Free workshops across the Coast are being held to raise organic recycling awareness and to offer support to residents who are already actively composting or worm farming.
During May, in recognition of International Composting Week, council will hold three workshops across the Coast. Onbe compost bin and worm farm, cmplete with worms, will be given away at each session.
One of these three workshops will be held in the Biosphere, at Noosa Library in Wallace Drive Noosaville, on May 8.
The workshops will show residents just how easy it is to set up a worm farm. Council's waste education officers will give trouble shooting tips and advice on creating an efficient system. Bookings are essential as spaces are limited.
