Noosa Integrated Catchment association and Noosa Library are joining forces to help people learn more about local native plants.
On Thursday 18th March from 4 to 6 pm, the second of ten illustrated talks on the plants of the Noosa Biosphere will be presented by Stephanie Haslam, author of the local field guide “Noosa’s Native Plants” and the website www.noosasnativeplants.com.au.
You will learn about what is Flowering Now, Weeds to Watch, Vegetation Types and Regional Ecosystems, Landscaping with the Locals, Cultural uses and the importance of local native plants to other species.

They are an extension of NICA’s “What LOCAL Native Plant is That?” schools programme, their “Noosa’s Native Plants” field guide and the website www.noosasnativeplants.com.au, supported by the Sunshine Coast Regional Council and endorsed by Noosa Biosphere Limited
