On Thursday 15th April the third in a series of illustrated talks to raise awareness about local native plants will be held at the Noosa library at Wallace Park from 4 to 6 pm.
This session will feature the plants flowering in Noosa in April as well as landscaping advice about using native creepers and vines to their best effect in your garden.
The Library's excellent equipment makes it easy to view plants being discussed on line on www.noosasnativeplants.com.au. Making the best use of this website is a feature of the talks that include landscaping hints with an emphasis on the different vegetation areas that dictate suitable planting - just the thing for newcomers who want to find out more about the local plants, the birds and animals they support.
COME ALONG AND LEARN ABOUT LOCAL NATIVE PLANTS.
The series is presented by the Noosa Integrated Catchment Association and endorsed by Noosa Biosphere Ltd.
