Thanks to everyone who applied to become a sector board member.  In some areas it was a tough choice as we had very high calibre folks applying.  The result is 13 new members across four boards and last week we inducted these sector board members by way of a group meeting, where everyone could meet each other and start the Biosphere journey together.

The new members are:

* Steven Boyd and Ben McLauchlan on the Economic Sector Board

* Jason Field and Kate Greenwood on the Cultural Sector Board

* Kate English, Phil Evans and Sonia Marshall on the Education, Research and Development Board

* Mathew Colefax, Celia Jones, Peter Schofield, Rod Wallbridge, George Williamson and Mike Shone on the Social Board

The other two Sector Boards, Environment and Tourism, are not in need of any new Board members at this time.

All of our new board members will be attending their first sector board meetings very shortly.  

Remember... All Sector Board meetings are open to the public, so if you wish to join a meeting then I suggest you drop the chairperson a polite note (to let them know you are coming) and then just come along!
