Noosa Biosphere Day is on this Sunday at Noosa Woods from 10am – 3pm and in addition to a wide variety of entertainment and environmental sessions the organisers are boasting health benefits.
Taking the approach that early detection is the best protection; the Queensland Bowel Cancer Screening Program has partnered with Noosa Biosphere Day and created a men’s ‘pit stop’ area.
Men will be given the challenge of 'passing through the pits' in a series of health-based tests linked to car parts including: 'chassis' or hip to waist measurement ratios; 'exhaust' or smoking or lung function; 'oil pressure or blood pressure' as well as 'duco' which is a skin cancer check.
Make sure your body is ‘road worthy’ and visit the pit stop area for a quick and easy check whilst enjoying the day’s festivities.
