The Queensland Government is looking for projects that will lead to transformative change. The Government's competitive EcoBiz program seeks projects that will deliver economic and environmental benefits to businesses and which can be diffused throughout industry.
EcoBiz rebates of up to $150 000 are available to support projects that:
• will improve eco-efficiency in one or more key areas of saving energy or water, or reducing material intensity, waste or greenhouse gas emissions
• can demonstrate innovation at a business and industry level.
Rebates are:
• designed to offset the business risk associated with implementing new technologies or processes
• not available for commonly available technology (such as solar panels)
• supported by the government as they have the potential to transform an entire industry.
