NOOSA BIOSPHERE COMMUNITY MEETINGS: INVITATION
SEEKING TO INCLUDE EUMUNDI, DOONAN & VERRIERDALE IN OFFICIAL BOUNDARY OF NOOSA BIOSPHERE
The Noosa Biosphere sector board volunteers wish to seek community interest in the possible extension of the UNESCO Man and the Biosphere boundaries to include neighbouring regions such as Eumundi, Doonan and Verrierdale.
Please accept this invitation to join the discussion at the following open public meetings:
- When: Monday 12th December 2011
- Time: 6.30pm (light refreshments will be supplied)
- Where: Eumundi CWA Hall, 80 Memorial Drive Eumundi.
And...
- When: Tuesday 13th December 2011
- Time: 6.30pm (light refreshments will be supplied)
- Where: Noosa Pengari Steiner School HALL, 86 Nyall Road Doonan.
One of the objectives of the meeting is to discuss whether to extend the Biosphere boundaries, however there will also be an interesting discussion about 'What is a biosphere' and 'Why it is important'.
