It is advisable to postpone some of your travel arrangments in and around the Biosphere.
The Bureau of Meteorology says rainfall totals in excess of 120mm have been recorded throughout the Sunshine Coast overnight and it hasn't stopped as far as I can tell (by looking out my window on a regular basis!)
The Noosa News has urged for caution on the roads and we have had to postpone our Social Sector Board meeting tonight because it is difficult for some board members to make it in.
The Sunshine Coast Daily have just posted a recent story about Sunshine Coast Dams overflowing, with a summary of the affects of the weather around our Shire.
There is a list of Council controlled roads and their status (i.e. their closure) which was updated about an hour ago.
It is advisable to keep an eye on the Bureau of Meterology Site over the coming hours.
