If you are looking for something to do this Saturday morning, why don't you head out to the Eumundi Markets?
Not only are the Eumund Markets a fabulous experience (not to mention shopping destination) but they are well on their way towards becoming one of the most sustainable markets in Australia.
The markets (and stall-holders) are implementing sustainability initiatives such as recycling, compost and water harvesting initiatives. They also have some big plans for solar as well.
The Noosa Biosphere Economic Board will have an information stall there today - just underneath the pink building. Watch out for the team of volunteers there and perhaps go up and say hello!
Tony, Mary Jane, Jill and many others from the Board will be there to explain what the Biosphere is and how you can become an active contributor to our community.
