We're getting close to launch now and there are two events that have been organised to coincide with the go-live date. The formal spiel is below:

Noosa Biosphere Limited and the Sunshine Coast Regional Council would like to extend an invitation to the public to attend two upcoming events in November - the launch of the Noosa Biosphere website and a community forum.

Noosa Biosphere Reserve is fortunate to be hosting a visit from Dr Natarajan Ishwaran. Dr. Ishwaran is the UNESCO Secretary to the Man and the Biosphere (MAB) Programme, and Director of Earth Sciences. Over the two days of Dr. Ish's visit, the Noosa Biosphere Governance Board will be hosting the following special events:

Noosa Biosphere Community Forum includes a 'Q&A at The J' Thursday 12 November, commencing at 6:30 p.m. Download the invitation here.

Official Launch of 'Celebrating your Biosphere' includes the Noosa Biosphere Reserve website launch, featuring a short film  Friday 13th November from 10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Download the invitation here.

The Q&A forum will provide an opportunity for members of the Noosa Biosphere Reserve community to submit questions to a panel of experts and Dr Ishwaran on the night. The Launch will include an address by Dr Ishwaran, a screening of a short film entitled "Biosphere" created by the Noosa Federation of the Arts as a template to link other biospheres, and an update on the activities of the NBL.
